My Hitachi HD Monitor projection screen TV began shutting off and turning on (seems to be in four hour intervals) *after* I added an HD DVR set-top box from TimeWarner.
In order to keep the TV off, I've got to either unplug it or the DVR unit. I've tried plugging the TV into a separate power strip, but no luck.
[edit: I've tried getting help from TW, but they've never heard of this issue and are pretty useless.]
Additional Equipment:
Receiver, DVD player, Xbox, PS2.
The DVD player, Xbox & PS2 are plugged into a switch.
The switch and DVR set-top box are connected into the TV's component inputs.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
