i am looking to purchase a Audio Technica AT-PL50 Belt Drive Turntable and would like to hook it up to my Klipsch ProMedia 2.1 Multimedia Speaker System. The turntable has an internal preamp and a stereo RCA-to-1/8-inch miniplug stereo adapter cable. what other equipment would i need to connect the two systems? Thanks in advance.

Hey, welcome to the forum.

I think that you're all set. Those two should work together without anything else being needed.

If the turntable has a built-in preamp then you have everything you need. Just connect the mini plug to the aux in or other line-level input of the speakers.
