It was an Anthem, the fork made music until it melted and the circuit was open.:)
That would certainly validate Anthem's claim that the Statement P2 or P5 are stable into any impedence down to a short circuit. They had to expect that somebody would try to prove it.

now if they offer a 20 year warranty on their product like Bryston does, they would be invinceable

That was it. My local dealer said one of his local customers has two of them bi-amping a pair of bookshelf speakers.
