Trying to research Amplifiers

I'm having a heck of a time finding brands of HT amplifiers. Everytime I search I just pull up car audio stuff. And when I look on sites like this, I just get same names Emotiva, ect....

What I'm looking for is a 3 or 2 channel amp that outputs 150-200wpc. I'll be driving 6ohm eD towers. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

You should check out Audiogon.com as they have exactly what you are looking for........Emotiva makes a good product...

There's a whole host of stereo amps available out there, 3-channel is a different story. Two that come to mind are Anthem and ATI, or you could go with 3 mono-blocks from Outlaw Audio.

What did you search on? Home audio amps? Just plain amps? Maybe that is the problem?
By the way, why do you think you need an external amp for those speakers?

Well I don't really. I'm just curious as to how much they cost. My Onk 705 can push them well, but I'm looking toward future upgrades.

Stereo amp.

A pro amp like the Behringer A500 would meet your power requirments for <$200, however, 6 ohms is an easy load for most receivers.

If your budget is $1k or more, check out some of the above mentioned brands. For $800, the Emotiva XPA-5 (5 x 200 Watts) is a good option for HT.
