Does anyone have an opinion on the Energy Take 5.2 ? Would they be a worthy replacement to My Athena's.

I understand that B&W is a good match to Rotel.

What I'm saying is, I think my speakers my be a weak link in the chain. The Athena don't have the punch I think they should. I purchased them after waiting four weeks for Paradigm 110's. I was in a rush to connect my system, I was desperate.

Satellite speakers and the word "punch" don't belong in the same sentence. If you want punchy speakers, you will need to step up to bookshelfs, minimum.

Speaker options

You have a nice projector, receiver, and other gear and the speakers are definately the weak link. The Energy Take speakers would get you a slightly better satelite system, but there is only so much a 3-4" woofer can do.
Check out the Onix X-LS bookshelf speakers from av123.com. $500 would get you a major performance upgrade.

Sheep,

No, but I am injoying my Onix Ref 1's and have been impressed with their level of service. Mark has many great products in the pipeline and the Onix X-LS speakers are just the beginning.

Maybe someday, AH will finish their review of the Emotiva UL pre/pro and amp.
