Trying to decide between Klipsch Quintet and Energy Take Classic

Hi,

I'm building my Theatre room and it is time to order some speakers. I've read through a ton of threads and I realize that my budget is low for sound but I can upgrade down the road if it is necessary.

My room is 12x14 and has an Epson 720 projector. Using an Onkyo TR SX606 receiver. The speakers will be for 100% movies and TV. I don't listen to music in the house.

I've narrowed it down to the Klipsch Quintet series either SL or III or the Energy Take Classic which also seems to get positive reviews. I'm unable to listen to these first but I can return them to the vendors that I'm looking at right now.

Let me know your opinions on these two. I know it is not the greatest but I think they are some of the better in that price range.

Thanks in advance.

You can also look at Mirage Omnisat v2 speakers which are on sale for 99$ each (originally 250$ each) at vann's since they are being discontinued due to a replacement. The makers of Energy also make Mirage.

I have had the Energy Take Classics for about 7 months, along with a Yamaha RX-V663 receiver. I couldn't be happier with it. Dont sell them short for music recently bought a couple of SACD discs and enjoying them very much. If there is a circuit city closing in your area might want to check them out, have seen this set sell for $240.

Very different speakers. Energy are much more neutral IMO, but you may or may not like that.
