Your player can't output bitstream, so your receiver won't be able to decode the TrueHD, even if it has built in TrueHD decoders. Your player will take the TrueHD track and decode it to Multichannel PCM and output the PCM to your receiver. PCM is uncompressed lossless audio, TrueHD is compressed lossless audio. Until the new HD players can output bitstream, all decoding will be done by the player and passed to the receiver via PCM through HDMI. But TrueHD and DTS-HD and DTS-HD MA both contain the core Dolby Digital, and DTS tracks so if you have your player connected to the receiver via digital optical, or digital coax, you will only hear the standard dolby or dts track.
