Hi, I am currently modifying my audio setup. I have a Denon AVR-3300 and I have just installed a new HTPC and a new Samsung TV which only has digital optic audio output. I was doing some cleaning in the big mess of cables behind the receiver. I am now trying to get the audio from the TV and the HTPC to the receiver via optical audio but I can't seem to get it to work.
I have tried all 3 of the input on the receiver and I have also tried getting the audio from the TV, the receiver and the PC. I have also tried with a different cable. I am not that familiar with audio setup and audio format.
I don't know if it's a problem with the receiver or only that I don't know enough.
