Selling my Trinnov Altitude 16. Purchased in 2022 and is under warranty until 2027. I will include the calibration microphone in the purchase price. Prefer local (Central Florida) but willing to ship. I have the original box. Unit is flawless..
That will be a hard sell at that price. As far as I can tell used sales of those are in the 6 to 9 K range. Also in head to head the Marantz AV 10 comes off better and USP is 7K. From what I can tell the AV 10 has better build quality and is far more versatile. I would think the right price for that unit is 3 to 5K range and I doubt would be a wise purchase over 5K.

That’s… an interesting take. Comparing an Altitude 16 to an AV10 tells me pretty clearly you’re not the intended buyer for this unit. They don’t compete on processing, architecture, or capability — and anyone familiar with Trinnov already knows that.

The price reflects condition, remaining factory warranty through 2027, included calibration mic, and actual market reality — not guesswork. I’m not in a rush, and I’m perfectly fine waiting for someone who understands what they’re buying.

IMO trying to sell a used 4 year old piece of of anything audio for more than 50% of what it was new rarely works, at least with those savvy enough to know better.

Good Luck..........

Well, its connectivity and versatility is nowhere nearly as good as what the AV 10 has to offer. From the pictures the AV 10 looks to have a far higher build quality. I suspect that the DAC and processor in the AV 10 are also better. Lastly good equipment does not need all those fancy Eq programs. Equipment like mine is right by design, and there is no need for Audyssey, Dirac etc. I could not even connect that unit to my system. Basically that unit is a glorified HTPC.

I don’t quite understand why you come to a post about gear being sold just to tell us yet AGAIN that the only system that sounds good is yours. If you don’t like it, don‘t buy it and move on. It‘s not for everyone. I’m really happy that you can build the world‘s best system for yourself and that you feel empowered enough to constantly remind us. Thanks!!

This is the Classifieds section, not a place for you to convince people that you have the best system in the world. Take that discussion elsewhere.

WELL SAID "SIR" WELL SAID

Unfortunately he who knows everything probable has never owned anything in the Trinnov line, and is simply quoting from the
advertising. So it must be right. And of cause he's never wrong.

Having said that, a photo or the rear, showing all the connections would be nice.

Huh, what? These typically go in the 11-13k range. No idea where you are getting 6-9k?

to the OP glws. I sold mine a few years back for 12k.
