Have you not looked at the frames and magnets on Triad drivers? If the drivers in the link aren't made in China, I would be very surprised because they look exactly like Peerless/Tymphony, which is Chinese-owned. Not saying anything bad about them and I used Peerless/Tymphony for my own speakers, but the reality of being owned by Control4 is that C4 wants to profit and buying Chinese-made has been one of the best ways to do that.

I'm thinking of putting together a trip to the Triad Factory in Portland, Oregon. The event would include a Factory Tour and an extensive demo of the new Cinema Reference speakers. I can also try to arrange for a hotel discount, and a free ride from the airport to the hotel. Plus, we can all get together for dinner the night before the Triad Tour/Demo. There would also be a a very special discount from Egret Electronics on the new speakers, should you wish to buy them.

The trip would probably be in mid to late September.
