I am looking for tower speakers in the $2K price range to replace NHT Super Twos. Have been reading about direct options like Ascend, Salk, and Aperion, and would like to get as much info as possible before doing an in-home trial.
Can anyone compare these (or other towers) to the Geneva Labs Model L? We have one of those in a smaller room than the main system and absolutely love how it sounds. Better imaging, soundstage, and presence than the Super Twos. All around more musical.
What we'd like to do is upgrade the main system to sound as good as (or better than) the Geneva. My best guess is that the mains are the place to start. Rest of system: Pioneer VSX-1120K, NHT SC-1 center, Oppo DV971H, SVS PB12-NSD.
