I made an effort to get to Sears today to look at their tv's. The Samsung LCD with that amazing 15,000:1 contrast ratio really is stunning and makes all the other sets look washed out. Of the plasmas, my preference was strongly toward the Panasonic Viera. You simply can't beat the picture, anti-glare feature, and the flat black bezel.
I don't know what "green push" is. I can say that the Sammy picture had a tiny tendency toward the green end of things compared to all the other brands. That could be a lack of decent setup for all I know. But overall, the picture was stunning!!!
Now...if they only made it in a 60" size.
