I started out looking at: (Denon 3805/ Yamaha rx v2500 / Pioneer Elite 56Txi)
Denon won that race by a close margin over the yamaha. Then I found these two H.K products.

I really want the DPR 2005 to work because its a new digital technology, no internal fan needed, half the size, and 120 X 7 Output. But I won't buy the product without a lab test/ review. Any review coming out before Christmas?

I have the DPR2005 and I did have a link to a review but I can't find it. I'm very pleased with the sound (after some burn-in time). My NHT SB3's paired with this recvr sounds almost as good as my Celestion SL6S/Perreaux combo...that's pretty good for all "cheap" equipment.
