Took the Plasma leap!!

Panny TC-P54G25 on the way.

I bought it from the AH store. Their price was pretty competitive. I could have saved $50 going elsewhere, but I figured I'd stay with a store I have history with and can trust.

Now to find a stand that can hold my equipment without going broke in the process.

Cool! I almost bought the same set in November but I wanted 58" and I would of had to go to the vt25 to get that and didn't want to spen that much...so I went with the Samsung c550 instead.

Yeah, I wanted a 58" as well. I wish Panasonic would have gone that route with the G series. It would've been a no brainer.
Instead, I pulled my hair out for a couple months weighing options.

Yeah, I'm picturing a bunch of truckers siting in front of it at a place called "EAT" watching the game Sunday night.
Hopefully one of them can calibrate it for me.

Sorry to hear Nomo, but you're in for a big upgrade.

Maybe you can skip work for a few days, lock yourself in, record the game on the DVR, and watch it Wednesday night. j/k.

Just got it today!!

All I need to do now is dismantle/rearrange the den and living room, move the 200 lb RP TV down to the den, and put the new stand together.

In the mean time I'm running break-in slides thru the new Panny, 100 hrs.

I have a feeling the Plasma will be ready before the rooms are.

Oh, the stand got here today as well. I picked it out with the GF.
Now that it's here; she hates it.

.....and yes I am DVRing the game tonite. I hope the packers still win.

Congrats, once you go plasma it's hard to go back to anything else. I was going to run the break in slides on my, but decided not to, just using it normally was break in enough as long as I didn't have the brightness and contrast set too high, which I of course didn't.
