I was thinking of buying a pair of BP 8060 ST and place them where the book shelf speakers are and move the book shelfs to the rear to replace some speakers I bought at visions canada. do you think this would be better or a waste of money? thanks for any input

So 8060ST towers x 4? I would not want any amps inside my speakers, so I would say it’s a waste of money. I assume you wanted more bass by adding 2 more towers? Reactions: Golfx

Back then, they went for $2000/pr speakers. I’d consider a newer model. Unless you’re willing to risk used. Not a waste if you run them 40hz or full range .
