To bi-amp or not to bi-amp?

Any reason not to other than the expense of the cable? Is the difference worth the price of the cable? Running Verus Grand Towers for the fronts off of a Denon 4520.

Thanks!

100% utter waste of energy, time, and money to passively bi-amp.

Bi-amping might be beneficial if the two amplifiers involved are each powered by their own, individual power supply and are fed through a line-level crossover before the power amps. That generally means at least two different amp chassis and an external powered crossover.

bi-amping from a receiver where all amps are powered by the same power supply is like digging a hole in dry sand in a stiff wind with a teaspoon.
