I have an old TIVO with a life time subscribtion I bought years ago for $49.00 so I really want to kep my current TIVO box...If I bought a new HD TIVO box, I would not be able to transfer my lifetime deal. SO, My question is, if my A/V receiver upconverts, what is the best way to wire everything..I have HD cable box, that I assume I would wire to tivo, then wire Tivo (via the old red white and yellow cables) to the A/V receiver,,then run HDMI cable from the receiver to the TV)
Is this the best way to view my HDtv programming and Tivo it? or am i just living in a fantasy world?
