I'll be using Canare 4s11 4 wire cable, bi-wired at the speaker. the cable is 3/8 inch thick, and each of the four wires (14awg each) is about 1/16 of an inch.

I want to use boot pants, and heat shrink the boot pant to the 3/8 inch area of the speaker cable. I know boot pants dont heat shrink.

Then i would like to heat shrink the 4 wires to banana plugs.

My question is how do I determine the size of heat shrink to get??

I used 4S11 for mine also. Good stuff. Relatively easy to work with. My speakers have odd size binding posts, so I switched to a different style of plug and it worked out well with the 4S11.
