Time to tap into the wealth of knowledge from other audio people. Here is the deal... I just got a new setup Four axiom m3ts bookshelf speakers, and a ksw 12" sub. Currentlty I have a sony 80x5 reciever (str-dea445). It has treated me plenty good for about 2 years. Since i have four bookshelfs, i want to maximize them for listening to music. I only get music out of the left and right channels. I want to get a receiver that puts out 6.1 stero or 7.1 stero (along with 6.1 or 7.1 movies). I dont want to go over $300, but if you give me a good reason i will think about it. Who makes a good receiver? (Kardon? Yamaha? Onkyo? Outlaw) what would you guys recommend. Where is a good place to buy them on the net?
