How did those ADS 810s compare to the Advents? Never heard any ADS speakers but always wanted to listen to them.

They were excellent. Much better in every way. Anyway, they are "old" speakers now.

JBL 100s were very sought after back in the day. They were the speaker everyone wanted back when I was in the Air Force. So how do they compare to the Salks? I have never heard any of the Salk line but they get outstanding reviews.
Thanks
Dave
The L100 is the speaker I wish I'd bought instead of the Advents (my part time job at the time only went so far...). You might enjoy this thread on the subject. https://forums.audioholics.com/forums/threads/the-vintage-jbl-west-coast-sound-becomes-the….25014/
