alright so I have two alpine type e 10s and I have one alpine type r 10 and I was wondering if it would be okay to put them in all one box? I also have one 12 inch pioneer champion series. Is there a way to have all four in one box and have it produce good bass? I'm looking for good, clean bass. I have a 1200 watt amp btw.

Subs are designed to work in boxed designed particularly for them. There is a bit of math involved here and you should look into what's involved with designing the correct box for these speakers. There's a bit more than can be answered in one or two posts on the internet. You might start by getting the Thiele/Small parameters for them.

You MIGHT get by putting the two subs that are the same (e 10's) in one box IF YOU DO THE MATH CORRECTLY but trying to put any others will not allow you to get the best performance from them. They should have their own, individual boxes designed for their own particular requirements.

This is really more of a HOME theater / AV forum, not so much of a CAR audio forum.

So even if I build a custom box and I make sure they have their own compartment and space do you think it'd be okay? I'm new to the whole building box thing so I'm asking a lot of basic questions

I'm not an expert in this area. But, I would think that if each sub of a type had it's own compartment, separated from the others, then it would most likely work out fine. It would essentially be the same as separate boxes, then glued together.

I think that'd be true as well. I just wanted to hear what someone else thought about the idea.
