Interesting. I've read that a lot of bass and midbass frequencies with wavelengths longer than the width of the front baffle travel around and behind more traditional speakers, only to be reflected from the wall behind at Lord-only-knows what angles. So focusing the sound with horn-like reflectors like that, one might experience a noticeable improvement in low end response and clarity and get away with using simpler crossovers. I guess. Could just be gimmicky in practice. I'd be interested to hear some (but maybe paired with a more grown-up subwoofer).

I know someone here has posted those before (Mark, maybe?). They are indeed intriguing. According to their picture, they might be a good fit if you live in a warehouse.
