I am looking to sell my Thiel CS.5's! I am looking at around $800 + ACTUAL Shipping Cost for them. They have some minor damage which I will take pictures of this next weekend. You can choose the shipping method, and if you want insurance or not. If you choose no insurance I will not be able to re-emburse you if they get damaged in shipping
I have been offered $600 CASH for these at a local dealer, and am just looking for a few more dollars. These Speakers sell at dealers for $1K. My local dealer said he could sell them for 1K in less then a week.
They are amazing, and are easily one of the best speakers Ive ever heard. They are not heavy on the base, though they make great for Surround sound or subwoofer setups. They sound absolutely amazing at all volume levels. I especially loved listening to them at or below normal voice levels. I could hear everything at these low volumes, and it easily made my hair stand up on the back of my neck.
I wouldnt be selling these speakers if I had the cash to finish a Thiel 5.1 Channel system. I just cant afford the other parts. Thiel 3.5's sell for under $1K and are only low costing due to extreme power requirements. They make for excellent front channels, and I could probably get them shipped to you via the local dealer selling them. He said he would sell them for $850.
I cant say enough about these speakers.
