Watched The World's End tonight on blu ray. This is another Simon Pegg & Nick Frost movie (Hot Fuzz, Paul, and Shaun of the Dead). I'm a fan of both Pegg and Frost going back to when they were doing sitcoms on BBC tv (Spaced, & Pegg in Big Train).
Five friends who reunite in an attempt to top their epic pub crawl from 20 years earlier unwittingly become humankind's only hope for survival.
I thought the acting was good, but the story was kind of weak. It was more Hot Fuzz than Shaun of the Dead.
Jackie Chan was credited with the fight scene choreography.
Some good bass and nice surround sound.
This is definitely a rental and not a purchase.
