I am a novice in the audio scene, but am more and more appreciating good audio quality and am startig to get a bit of a budget for it as well. I am looking for your advice on systems available out there!
I am looking for a setup consisting of:
- NAS
One networked harddisk containing all my music, (RAW/JPG) pictures and video files.
[*]High quality receiver/amplifier
I am looking for a high quality device that streams all my music, pictures AND video files DIRECTLY from my NAS, without interference from any media box, my PS3 or my iMac. I have looked at the networked products from Denon for instance, but they all don't stream any video from a NAS.

Should be getting the files from the NAS as well, not locally storing it per se.

Potentially to be used to control the receiver/amplifier, I know Denon allows this.

Solely used for (3D) gaming, not streaming any of the media mentioned above.
Do you guys know if this is possible at all? Do you know of any brand that might allow it?
Can somebody explain why Denon wouldn't allow to stream any video?
