kicking around the idea of perhaps in the future adding a 3rd sub. i have read several threads talking about dr. geddes approach. off the top of my head, the basic idea seems to be: sub 1 in a corner, sub 2 anywhere it sounds good but not close to the listener or to sub 1, and sub 3 close to the listener and preferably off the ground (i'm imagining on a coffee table). you measure for flattest response inbetween adding each sub. my main question is this: it appears as if this approach does not recommend (or doesn't feel it is needed) any kind of room processing/eq'ing. but i am a pretty big proponent of it and would like to try it with my audyssey XT32. so how would you guys run audyssey on three subs? the subs in question would be my rythmik F15's as 1 +2 and a F12 as 3. would you run a Y connector? if so for which 2? slave sub 3 off of sub 2? does it matter?
