They issue you may come across if they use a VPN to hide their IP address and represent that as another country.

I mentioned that, and we have already had two more of their spam posts.

Seriously, I have no life.
It seems to me that the subject line contains "Coupon Code" consistently no matter of their other stuff on the subject line.
Anyway to block posts with that in the subject line?

In a FB group I'm an admin of we use a questionaire of a few simple questions to weed out the spammers to a great extent. What are the requirements for Audioholics for a user to be accepted?

Need to add "DiscouNT Code" or Coupon code.
Or, just "Code."

Why mention all of this in posts ? They might read it and change the contents of the subject line. A while ago I suggested something to Gene in a personal post.

We blocked China from the IP List. Let me know if this helps.
Yeah, it unfortunately looks like it didn't help, or at least not enough. This morning it's full of spam again.
I've mentioned it before - Patrick Kennedy from ServeTheHome is also running Xenforo-based forums, and they ain't got no spam. You might want to reach out to him.

And in the 4 hours since my last post there have been 15 new spam posters that I've blocked.

The latest group changed subject lines. Still possible to do a common word, regardless of caps or not.

Conspiracy theory approach....are the snake oil guys hiring hackers to specifically target the site? :)

More a limitation of the forum software it seems....
Hmmm, while I have no idea what's going on with this site being attacked so much, I frequent several guitar and photo forums and none of them seem to have the continual problems this site has. Several, like TDPRI uses the same software. It's very rare to see spam there. It's like this site in being targeted. That, or the other forums figured out how to mitigate the attacks.

Something happened. I have not seen any in the last two days. Keep it up. :)
Or taken care before I log in. :D
