Seriously, I have no life.
It is upon us. Career folks are fired and or threatened to be fired in mass.
Elon's people wanted access to Treasury departments extremely sensitive payment files, 6 trillion and more.

Was Elon placed in the government legally? Any conflict of interest? Did he put all his assets to a blind trust? Oh, neither did Trump, my bad.

Dark days are coming. Trumps FBI, Trumps Justice department and on it goes.

Does anyone in the republican congress have a spine left?

More the hypocrisy for me. Musk has received billions in gov't subsidies.

All government money to Elon Musk, consisting of discounted loans, grants, environmental tax credits, and subsidies equals $4.9 billion or about one percent of Elon Musk‘s net worth

About 25 billion with SpaceX, but still way less than I thought. Ah that can be cut out of his portfolio. He won't mind since it's in the name of trimming gov. :)

You forgot about Musk trimming the competition so he gets as many of the space contracts as possible.

Well he already said he shouldn’t receive anymore subsidies. You should watch Stossel on welfare.

To be fair (not defending the currentfuckery that is Musk's involvement with the government) do you know the relative costs that Space X launches a kilogram at compared to any competitor. Private or governmental?

I don't think you do or you wouldn't let your hatred come ignorance show in such a manner. Because SpaceX has pretty much trimmed the competition even when things like NASA no bid contracts to the ULA were working against SpaceX.

You're very naive.

I know you are pretty much defaulted at 'platitudes' when asked a hard fact question...

But SpaceX ~2017 had to sue NASA after they proved reliable launch capability but weren't being allowed to even bid on contracts.

So AGAIN I'll ask: Do you know the relative, per kilo, launch costs of SpaceX and their next closest rival for LEO payloads?

Dude it's alright if you say 'no I don't'. I can't really think much less of you than I already do now.

And how long can he keep it up? Or is this a case of lose now at cheap rates, drive competition away then overcharge as the only game in town?

That's the thing with Musk's wealth. I don't *see* it. Like Tesla, don't see anyone buying/driving them around. SpaceX if he's producing as good a product yet costs less for sure. But don't see it in the market. I'm guessing some of his wealth is futures projection cause he holds the patents and technology etc.

$400 billion
-$25 billion (to favorite charities)
------------------
$375 billion

Put your $$$$ where your mouth is. ;)

(BTW, Stossel is pretty epic.)
