Here are some updated pictures of my dedicated HT room as of 4-1-2008. The painters got in there and sprayed the first coat of light absorbent black paint. So I thought I would get in there and try my hand at some sponge painting. What a pain in the Butt that was! I went masking, prep, first color, second color, then back over again to wash the colors a little. Man O Man! think it took me 5-6 hrs total. but the end result looks pretty good I think. I was going for a nice elegant look. Plus it almost looks as if the room is open to the skies! Well here are the pictures.

That's going to look nice when the room is completed.

Why didn't you paint all the way down the wall to the floor? Are you just not finished with the paint job yet?

Oh, Because carpet is going to come partly up the wall.

I agree, when it's easy to see the compression, it needs to be smaller anyway.

Looks like it's coming along nicely though.
