The Yamaha 750 is an excellent unit. The best Yamaha I tried. Plays everything including DVD Audio (who cares anymore really??).. If a single player is all you crave, want DVD A and SACD, like I said, the 657A. By far the best player under $200.

But, you said best for the money. I love the Denon 2910. Worth every cent more. .

My vote is for the proprietary digital link solution betweeen the Denon 3806 (or comparably equiped DenonLink receiver) and the 3910 DVD player. No analog cables and all bass management and time alignment in the digital realm for SACD and DVD Audio. Not to mention, the 3910 is also one of the strongest video performers around. I think the Meridian is the only other receiver\dvd player that does not require analog conversion and cables.
