The timing on this is curious. The show just had its best attendance records, so presumably it is doing better financially. I wonder if the previous owners are reading the writing on the wall in terms of the overall consumer electronics market and are checking out on a high note? Or maybe running a trade show is just too much of a headache for the money? Event planning seems like a risky business to me, overall.

Speakers aren't as 'audibly' more superior than 10 years ago...

The real question is, are they getting any prettier, though?

I am sure the sale was in process way before the final attendance numbers for this last show. Intent vs actual sale, the sales process does take a long time.

That being said it is a good sign to see Axpona this busy, it was so crowded I had to take a shuttle form the parking lot of prem.
