That's kinda stupid...

I popped in my Pirates Dead Man's Chest today for kicks. I usually skip previews and whatnot, but for whatever reason they played through. There is a preview for POTC3, which ends up giving away all of the plot twists from the movie I just put in.

Of course, I've already seen the movies, but what if I had been showing it to someone who hadn't seen them?

Anyway, it's not life changing, I just thought it was kind of stupid that they spoil the movie you're about to watch in the previews.

You can't FF past them or press the chapter advance? If not, that really sucks.

I think it was just that the DVD contained a preview that gave away the plot of the main movie on the disc. Some people watch the previews - or, like me, sometimes don't FF past them because I pop in the disc and then go grab a snack in the other room while the previews are playing.

It's on the Blu-Ray. Yes, you can fast forward or skip, which I usually do. Should I always have to skip the previews because there might be one that spoils the plot in the movie I'm about to watch?
