Just received and set up infinity 362's,152's and c350 center.
Really good sounding speakers for the price.Nice clarity, separation and soundstage.
Thanks to whomever replied to my posts and made recommendations.
I don't even know if I want to do Wmax's mods:DThey sound really good in stock form.Ah yes,the mystery speaker.
When I have time I will be soliciting your recommendations on a sub and receiver.
Again,thanks
Regards,Len

Nice choice. I have some Primus speakers myself, I don't think there is a better setup of that type for the money. I have been wanting to try Wmax's mods for a long time but I am squemish about opening up the speakers, I just don't think I can do that to my Infinity's, especially since the Primus line is being clearanced to make way for Primus 2.

Update

Just pulled the trigger on an onkyo 807 at newegg for a really great price.
Sub recommendations will be all I need now:D

I did Wmax's mods on some 22 year old fischer stv-756's for practice and its more time consuming than difficult(not the bracing, thats a whole different ballgame:eek:)
I just did the peal and seal and the rockwool. It made a noticeable difference even though they are very cheap speakers.
Just take your time and if you get stuck, someone here can and will help.I'm glad I did those first because I shoved the screwdriver right through the tweeter.Your better off using a cordless dril to remove the torx screws.

I have disassembled speakers in the past, and the tightness of the little screws were a problem. This is one of the reasons why I am hesitant to try my hand at those mods.

Congrats on the receiver, I know it will be a very nice one. I have the 707 working with my Primus speakers, it has worked out great. Subs are relatively easy to shop for as there are only a handful of subwoofer companies that offer a good value, and they are all internet direct. Sub shopping is the fun part!
