This is question is kinda tied in with the popping issue i mentioned in another thread.

The thing is, if turns out to be a big problem tracing down the 'popping' center channel issue i will be needing a new A/V receiver, but i just really like the compact facia of my present one, here's a pic:(http://www.audiorama.com.br/teac/teac_AGH550.jpg) Dimensions are W. 11-3/16" x H. 5-3/4" x D. 15-1/2".

So if anyone knows of something that could replace this, with at least 55W per channel in surround mode, 5.1 DD & DTS let me know.

Thanks

No, I particularly wanted a home theater receiver which is why i went for the AG-H550 over your model, which as you rightly said is a great piece of kit for the money and application.

Over my model, you mean the CR-H220?

So you have the receiver and are experiencing some popping on the center channel? I am sorry, I am just not fully understanding what you are saying.

What i am saying is: The center channel is basically fried in my AG-H550 A\V Home Theater Receiver and rather than repair it i was looking for a similar small A\V Home Theater Receiver to replace it. Is this clear?
