Here in our secluded country within a country called the Banana Republic of Miami, the heralded and much vaunted housing authority has been embroiled in scam of millions paid to contractors for homes that were never built, acreage bought by the county that by their own standards and codes are not buildable, all for low income housing, the person responsible for this still has her post a ONE MILLION dollar pension and to add injury to insult her husband is the principal owner of one of the contracting firms under investigation for fraud, no one has lifted a finger to fire her or to return the money to the tax payers. Anyone for banana pudding?

Aaaah yes... You're preaching to the choir Of course, don't expect the media to take the LIB politicians to task for their many failed communist housing projects....not to mention their many other failed/corrupt socialist experiments. Woah....the housing projects...that's a biggie!!

As for my reason for the post? It was actually non-political in nature In hindsight, the idea of a "Ghetto Bus Tour" is very hilarious indeed. Ya know.... it's like they're glorifying leftist economics failures at their finest. The bus tour sure wont survive for long, so you'll have to hurry if you expect to secure a ticket. LOL
(unless Chicago subsidizes the Ghetto Tour)....Hahahahahahaha

Knowing what I do about Chicago city politics.......they very well might!!!

I took the Mack AVE ghetto tour everyday commuting from my home to my old office in Detroit for over a decade,ive seen bums pooping on the sidewalks,bums sleeping on sewer lids that have steam comming from them,shooting victims laying in the road,no kidding the cops caution taped very close to the body & let traffic keep going around the dead guy.

Anyhow ive seen enough of the victims of a society that has left them behind (fancy sentence for bum) to last me ten lifetimes & i dont feel sorry for any of them.

Im glad there are ghetto's so i know where not to go

Did ya catch the name of the tour guide"beauty turner",whoever named her beauty played a cruel joke on her.

The last time I was in Chicago (65) was the last time I'll ever be in Chicago. Twenty bucks for a slum tour sounds a little pricey. I didn't catch if the tour guide supplied arms or if you had to bring your own.

The funny thing about the GHETTO TOUR is that most of those projects have been demolished and no longer exist.

The woman will be pointing out the bus window to an empty grassy field or a modern apartment complex as the bus passes by... "There is where Caprini Green sp? used to stand" ...etc, etc, etc.......
