Would someone here explain a few of the T/S Parameters to me? I am familiar with Fs, Xmax, Qts., Qms., Qes., and etc. but what about Pe and Bl??? Is Pe the power rating in RMS OR Peak??? How can I calculate Bl? Anyways, I would apptreciate someone taking a few minutes and explaining this to me. Thanks for your time. Have a great day. :):)

I did not like some of the descriptions on the link you provided (nothing against you Warp :) ). They can be somewhat misleading depending upon how it is understood. The explanation of BL for instance makes it seem that you want to purchase a sub with the highest BL factor as it will have the strongest motor. All T/S parameters are interrelated. They are measurements of the sum of the parts working together as a system. For instance you would not choose driver A over Driver B simply because it has a stronger motor expressed in BL. It may have a stronger motor because it has substantially more mass, xmax, or it is simply not a real efficient design and requires a lot of motor force.

I guess what I am saying is don't fget too concerned with any one parameter. They can begin to give an idea of how a woofer will perform but only with much experience. Even then you can be thrown for a loop now and then. :)

Hey thanks for adding a more clarifying link, as I really have no technical basis to give info, just posting what I am finding here...

The more info for me the better....

Still not clear about the Pe in that is it Peak power OR RMS??? I would think RMS but admit I could be wrong. What do any of you think?

Pe is the thermal power handling of the driver. So yes, it should be RMS power of the driver.
