SVS SB12-NSD red light question

hi all, have had this sub for some time, but haven't really had a minute to use it over the last 4 months due to having a now 10 month old. I felt like listening to some music this evening and quickly found I had my fronts set to large, so I switched them to small and played some deep digging bass.

What I found was that anything above the 56.5 mark, the green light went red.

The settings on the sun I have the gain around 90%, LFE on and phase at 0%

This is being pushed by a denon x5200.

Any idea what might be going on here? Normal? Don't push it above this level? When I turn the gain down I can crank the amp up louder without any red light. The sub has not clipped when the red light has come on. Should I just set it to a certain level to avoid any red lights?

Thanks all

I dunno, but my gain for the pair that I have is at 40%. I think you might b pushing it too hard. Check the phase, the setting might be wrong.
