What would most likely sound better for music? SVS PC-12NSD or Hsu STF-2? The room is 250 sq ft.. Powered by a Denon AVR-2809CI..

The Hsu has a nice flat extended freq response and the SVS cylinder freq curve looks like it has slightly more of a boost, and I'm not sure if one or the other will bring greater musical clarity (I'm just using for 20% HT). The cylinder would be louder but would it be as clear and precise?

Both will serve you really well and make you happy, but from all that I have read the HSU has a slight edge for music. Go with whatever suits your room and budget better. The HSU will have the normal box subwoofer look, and the cylinder of the SVS will be a great conversation starter.
