Svs pb2000 weak bass with Sony str-dh590

I'd look more at Denon/Marantz and Yamaha for avrs myself....but I'd also try the avr reset. I believe that will wipe out your DCAC settings, but try the setup before you do that and see if its different before/after DCAC.

I have that same receiver in the living room and it plays bass fine with the Sony subs gain at 10 o’clock. As some have stated it may be a source issue. The only thing that comes to mind is to make sure your speaker configuration is set correctly in the Sony’s menu. Be it 2.1 or 3.1 or whatever. If it is and I missed it, my apologies
