I am looking to get a bit more low end grunt in my HT.
My room is ~25'x15'x9' ~3,375 cubic feet. I currently have 5 sub woofers. one Rythmik Audio 15" sealed, two 10" Dayton Titanic drivers in small sealed enclosures and 2 GR Research dual 12" OB servo subs. This sounds great for audio and is reasonable for HT. However I am looking for unreasonable for HT SFX.
So what I am looking for is two subs I can blend into my system replacing the 10" Titanics for below 20hz to ~ 40hz. Right now SVS has in their outlet 2 PB 2000s for $1,709 with free shipping. The Audioholics review for these subs make them sound quite impressive.
Is there anything else I should be looking at in this price range?
Things I like about the SVS include the App based DSP.
I see the "Mono Price 15" THX® Certified Ultra 1000‑Watt Powered Subwoofer" in their outlet store would be $1,998, but I would also need an external mini DSP to get the DSP functionality.
