Any thoughts on either? They are very similar with ratings of I believe 18 for the V model and 22 for the other. Any other difference of note for the $100 price difference?

I'd say get the ISD/V. I remember Tom from SVS talking about it before it came out and said it would be an improvement over the standard ISD.

The ISD/V has variable port tuning, hence the "V" on the end of the model name. Unlike the ISD, it has 3 ports and comes with foam plugs. You can use these to change the tuning frequency of the sub and the output. Putting in more foam plugs lowers the tuning frequency, but decreases output. That said, leaving all the ports open gives you maximum output, but the sub won't go as deep.

It is essentially the ISD driver in the Plus/Ultra cabinet. With my VTF-2 (variable tune) I found that I didn't really need the ability to tune so much, but I thought it was a nice feature that allowed a bit more flexibilty for certain rooms or to allow you to tune to your taste. I compared it in both modes and left it in max extension.
