My friend just got his Denon 3310 and B&W 683's. The set-up's sound is flawless. The sub, center, and surrounds are on order. From what I can tell, B&W is in the entry level game big-time with the latest 600 series. With the speakers playing full-range, there is not even the slightest sign of low-end bottoming with whatever you throw at them. Very impressive. I expect a tighter, cleaner sound when the sub is added employing a 60Hz x-over. The tweeter is classic B&W sweetness. The mid-range is classic chest-cracking B&W. Very nice. The square cabinets are not appealing, but the black vinyl finish is not as bad as I expected. Grills are junk. Just think 703's in cheap packaging.
I hate the receiver menu, and manual. Flat-out prefer Yamaha. Not even a second thought here.
