Surround Bracket Types

I have a pair of 14 lb dipole surround speakers that I want to mount to a drywall wall. Omni mount makes a bracket (20.0) with an arm that protrudes out to hook into the speaker, but I would have to drill holes into the back of the speaker to attach it. Would this harm the speaker, or is this just a bad idea overall. What other options do I have ?

Surrounds - JBL L 810

The mounting hardware sent by JBL is not a good set up.

I use B-Tech 77 Mounts. They can support up to 50 lbs and they clamp onto the sides of the speaker. Drilling into your speakers shouldn't hurt them if you research the steps enough, but I've always had an aversion to making holes in my speakers. The B-Tech mounts are about $50 US, but they are built like tanks, weigh a ton, and happen to be the mounts used by reviewers at a certain site with the initials AH. Here's a link to B-Techs website: http://www.b-tech-int.com/Welcome.html
