It's really personal preference, but yes, I'd recommend the Onkyo. I've had good experiences with Onkyo, and I've read many good reviews of their products. So, I have confidence in them and will recommend them. The power rating on the Onkyo is lower than the Sherwood, but I'd bet money that it'll play just as loud and probably cleaner. Not a cut against Radio Shack gear, as I used to buy it when I was younger.
