Suggestions or will this setup be a good foundation?

Keeping this short...Went from originally wanting to get a soundbar to wanting the Bose Cinemate II, but further down the line I think I'll end up wanting a full 5.1 setup...Would like to start building up my Home Theater so I'm thinking of going with:

2x Mirage Nanostats (is it worth springing for the MX or the Premiers? Oh I'm kinda going with these based on Omnipolar and the looks..)
Yamaha RX-V567BL 7.1 (Really only looked at this because it had Upconversion)
Infiniti PS28 Powered Sub (Any others to consider?)

Budget is around 800 or so.

I'm looking for something that basically can give me the 5.1 effect similar to the Bose until I'm ready for the full fledged 5.1 setup. From my research, adding 2 more nano's and a center should be decent. I live in an apartment at the moment so I rather keep things simple in terms of running wires, which is why I'm going for a 2.1 at the moment.

Oh the room is 19x16, seating is 13-14 ft away from TV. Devices include PS3, PS2, Wii, HD FIOS DVR, HTPC, Samsung 55" LN610. All devices are currently HDMI except the PS2 which is component.

Thanks for the input!

Those nanos are VERY small, and will have a hard time filling a room of any size, much less sitting 14 feet away. Your 800 dollar budget is for everything (speakers, receiver, sub)? I would start with 2 tower speakers and a receiver. Save the sub for later, and get higher quality front speakers. Go to some audio shops if possible and listen to different speakers to see what you like.
