Suggestions for Whole House Audio System?

Hi Y'all,

I am trying to figure out how to set up a whole house audio system, and would like some input from you. I am unsure on the best way to configure this type of system. I have an extra A/V receiver that I am currently using only for my outdoor speakers. This receiver is being fed by a digital pre-amp output from my main receiver so that I can use all the components of my main system. I was wondering if I should just get a speaker selector and some wall mounted volume controls for each room, or if there is a better way to go?

Thanks for any advice,

Mark

Hi
AS of this post you simply can not do better for your money than this system
http://www.yamaha.com/yec/musiccast/index.htm

I have installed many multi-room systems for many years This system offers
more for about 1/2 the cost of a conventional system Add that to the fact that it cots about 1/4 of the $$ to install and it is a no brainer
Hope this helps

This looks awesome, but a little more than I can afford...unfortunately. I think I will have to go with a used Russound multisource/multizone pre-amp and a multizone amp.
Thanks though, it was cool seeing this thing.
