Suggestions appreciated

I am currently in the planning stages-home theater component purchases. As I am not located close to areas (metropolitans) where one might test various components my research thusfar has been limited to the web. Based on this research I will list the items I find appealing from an informational standpoint only (this list should provide an idea of my budget as well):

Pre/proc-Anthem AVM30, Rotel RSP-1098
Amp-Anthem MCA 50, Rotel RMB-1095, Sherbourn 5/5210A, Para. Halo A51
Speakers-short list, Axiom Epic 80 HT package

All suggestions will be appreciated (mix, match, items not listed, am I completely on the wrong track). Thanks.

the Axiom package gets great reviews for everything but the sub. You might want to either step up to one of their better 500 or 600 series subs, or get an Outlaw or HSU for your lower end.
