On my main system I'm using an RCA connection to the subwoofer. That system uses an A/V receiver with a
sub out. That way, I can make all kinds of
bass management and level adjustments. On another system in the house, I have to run the subwoofer via speaker inputs, because there is no RCA sub out. It uses an old stereo [2 channel] receiver. That set up doesn't work very well. I'm going to change that receiver to a more modern A/V receiver so I can get almost the same access to the kind of adjustments like my main system has. It's time to do so anyways, because that stereo receiver is having left channel drop out problems now.
