What is the ideal settings for the subwoofer? I have an Energy S10.

The ideal settings are those that balance its output with the rest of the speakers. Nobody can tell you exact numbers - you need to calibrate the receiver and the levels of all channels including the subwoofer. Search the forums for 'calibration' or 'reference level' and you will find lots of discussions.

What is the ideal settings for the subwoofer? I have an Energy S10.

If your mains are flat to 60 hz or lower then an 80 hz setting would be ideal, if not try 100hz. For volume levels, depending on preference for bass, somewhere between 3-6 db's higher then your mains. Of course you would need a sound pressure meter to calibrate.
