The SVS 25-31 PCi would be your best option for the size of your space.

SVS PB-10 and the eD a2-300 are probably the kings at that price range...the latter goes for $350 shipped, brand new, until May 15 I believe. I'd go for whichever offers more output, given your room size.

This topic can be kind of a broken record since it's discussed so much.

Because it's so popular what would be the chance of starting a list of sub ratings and price with links to reviews of the individual subs??? Ratings for music / home theatre / etc. would be great for newbs like me. Also keeping the list up-to-date would be awesome.

Also I've rarely read a bad review of a sub or a speaker. So Reviews don't tell you anything IMO.

That's a shame to. If a pro reviewer reviews product ABC and it's a truly awesome product at price X then that should be the benchmark for how other products are rated. If he reviews product DEF at price X or higher that is clearly inferior then the product DEF should get a relatively low rating.

I don't really see any other way to do reviews that help folks that read the reviews.
